On May 30th via Zoom, Division 27 North held a joint Division Council Meeting and Banquet with Division 27 South. With a staggering number of over one hundred attendees, the event proved to be a nice opportunity for the divisions to gather once more since quarantine has placed a barrier on gathering at events in person. At the DCM portion of the meeting, Lieutenant Governor Sebastian Flores facilitated new and old business, goals, club updates, and monthly recognition. Following the DCM, the banquet was a reflection of the achievements of everyone’s hard work throughout the term, as well as a heartwarming and emotional goodbye to the Immediate Past Lieutenant Governors, Antonio Quesada and Nicole Nguyen. At the event, officers, members, clubs, and the DLT received recognition for their efforts throughout the term. Before everyone parted ways, video clips of events throughout the 2019-2020 term, taken by the Immediate Past Tech and Media Task Coordinator, Teya Wasel, were put together to reflect the good times and memories of the term. The banquet was a celebration of the successful old term, and the beginning of a promising new term.
