On a bright and early morning, volunteers set off to help Heavenly Hands Outreach and Food Pantry, the first in-person volunteer opportunity since the pandemic began. The day consisted of going through packages of food and sorting them into different boxes. From sorting through boxes and boxes of Torani syrup to baby food and granola bars, it became worth it in the end. Each box would go to a different family who are less fortunate and would be able to get food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even during these times, we continued to have the thrive to give back to the community, all while maintaining social distancing and following COVID-19 guidelines!
