Going Green DCM

Division 27 North gathered to turn plastic bags into plarn at the Going Green DCM, and it was a great service event where Key Clubbers were able to bond. We turned plastic bags into plarn by cutting plastic bags into multiple strips and knotting them together to create long strings of plastic. After we were finished, we rolled the plarn into a ball for it to be sent off to the Corpus Christi Catholic Church. From there, the plarn would be woven into mats for the homeless. We managed to turn plastic, which would originally go into waste and pollute the environment, into something that would help our community. This was a clever, creative, and fun way to care for our community. Some grizzlies even managed to create plarn so long that it stretched across multiple rooms!
